Day 1: Umoja ( Unity ) – light the black candle

Day 2: Kujichagulia ( Self-Determination ) – light the red candle

Day 3: Ujima ( Collective work and responsibility ) – light the red candle

Day 4: Ujaama ( Collective Economics ) – light the red candle

Day 5: Nia ( Purpose ) – light the green candle

Day 6: Kuumba ( Creativity ) – light the green candle

Day 7: Imani ( Faith ) – light the green candle

So the way you do Kwanzaa ALL YEAR ROUND is to pick a week every month to express the seven principles as a family. Now we need you to get creative, use text, social media, and the must have face to face dinner, brunch or lunch.
